The Colony Chamber Grows 18% in 2013

ChamberLogoYes, we are growing and our numbers keep growing too! The Colony Chamber has had an 18% increase in membership in 2013 and the year isn’t over yet. We’ve had a large increase in home-based business memberships as well as basic memberships attributed to the growth here in The Colony. And, it’s no surprise The Colony is ranked #20 as Best Places to Live according to CNN Money magazine. Our businesses, organizations, city and community involvement have contributed immensely to helping make The Colony such an attractive city to live and do business in.

With such an increase in membership growth, The Chamber has been focusing heavily on our Ambassadors to mentor new members and show them the ropes on how to take advantage of the chamber benefits. One niche in the market the chamber provides is face-to-face networking, which you don’t get through social media options. While we offer a variety of social media options, we also understand the breakdown of what makes your business work. It takes saturation in every category, and the chamber enables you to accomplish this.

Additionally, the chamber will be restructuring our member benefits and major investor packages to include comprehensive options customized for start-up business marketing plans, rebranding, new product launches, or “top-of-mind” initiates. You can look forward to seeing the new price structure and offerings this fall.

With strong campaigns geared towards the public utilizing the chamber website to find businesses and services as well as encouraging home-based businesses to join the chamber, we emphasize that now is the time to join The Colony Chamber of Commerce. The chamber is made up of individuals and businesses with a common goal, where everyone’s input and participation is what makes our chamber.

The Chamber Board is continuing to pursue relationships and create partnerships with community and business organizations that share our visions and goals, whether through Board, Committee or membership participation.

We invite you to come and explore the many options and opportunities the chamber has available so you may grow with us.

Sincerely,
The Colony Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors
